At Northside Christian Church we are committed to helping people establish a life that is both fulfilling and fruitful. We are convinced that God has proven that people matter to Him. As a Church we are passionate about caring for the physical, emotional and spiritual health of every person that the Lord brings across our path. Everyone is important to us because they are special to God.
In a large church like ours it is difficult to get to know people and to feel part of things. For that reason we have established connect groups to help you make strong friendships, support you in difficult times and to help you reach your potential in life.
It is not unusual to hear of groups rallying around one of their own who has fallen sick, suffered a family tragedy or who needs practical help. On the positive side there are the celebrations together of engagements, weddings, new born babies and special birthdays. For many people their connect group becomes their family.

We have a team of committed people who do their best to encourage and support in time of need. This includes Ps Gary Canham, Ps Jane Wong, and many dedicated volunteers.
We arrange hospital visits, visits to the sick and lonely, plus practical help where it is needed. We are there to provide a listening ear, a word of comfort, or some Godly advice when appropriate. Confidentiality is absolutely respected. We also have some excellent contacts when a referral is needed for in-depth counseling.
