of the world. YWAM-Youth with a Mission
- Geena Brew Geena is working in our local city of Melbourne. She is involved in training and developing up and coming workers for the mission field. Geena has currently taken on a greater role at YWAM as base director. She overseas work amongst the poor and lowly of our community which includes a soup kitchen and a pamper night for working girls. Japan - Daniel Joseph Daniel has been working in Japan for the last two years. He teaches English to help support himself whilst working busily as the music director of an 'exploding church'. Daniel has assimilated with his culture, learnt the language and developed friendships that will last a lifetime. God is using him in mighty ways to touch the Japanese people with the greatness of the Scripture. Thailand - Fay Walkling
South Africa - Steve & Heidi Parker For the past 13 years, Steve & Heidi have been working tirelessly in South Africa amongst the native churches. Their dream is to educate, train and inspire the pastors that then go back to their churches and teach their own people. Steve & Heidi have seen what a lack of good teaching can do to churches. Steve & Heidi also support a local orphanage
and Heidi teaches sewing to many ladies which gives them a way of
supporting themselves in their own communities. The needs are endless,
but Steve & Heidi will stick it out until the work is complete. West Africa-Guinea - The Langford Family Bruce & Meralisa, along with their five children are working in the villages of Guinea to bring the Gospel to people who have never heard it before. They are working with local pastors to support and train them in planting churches and encouraging church growth. The Langfords often go without home comforts and modern technology so they can spread the truth of the Gospel in a dark place. India - Vommangi Children's Home During a missions trip to India, God connected the team with an unsupported orphanage. We now partner with Prabhakar and the many children that are housed at Vommangi who either don't have parents/family, or they can't care for them. At NCC we love to support children that are in a desperate need. These children are not only clothed, feed and sheltered, but they are taught the Word of God. The Vommangi Children's Home is close to the heart of us here at NCC. Compassion Child - Sponsorship Burkina Faso Compassion Child Sponsorship reaches children who need shelter, food and a good education. However, what sets Compassion above the rest is that they also offer Christian Education to the children, so you know the child you sponsor will also know about the saving grace of Christ Jesus. At NCC we are committed to the country of Burkina Faso and sponsor a number of children both individually and collectively. There are always more children that need our sponsorship. At NCC we are committed to the growth and development of this ministry within our church. Other Ministries Northside Christian Church also support a number of other ministries throughout the world. Whilst we can't mention all of these needs for various reasons there are many people that need our prayer, including Ross & Donna in China. We support pastors that are pioneering new churches
in India and China, Bible distribution and Christian home studies. More support is always needed for our missionaries
on the field as well as all the projects that we support.

Fay
has been working for many years in Thailand. She has truly assimilated
to the culture and made Thailand her home. The support from Northside
help her to be able to continue with her work amongst young boys
in Thailand that don't have a home to go to. Fay runs an orphanage,
but besides that she also continues to support a number of young
men when they leave the orphanage. This enables them to continue
with their education and become self-supportive. Fay's work is tireless,
but she continues positively to make a difference in the lives of
the boys she works with.
